How It Works

A front-to-back tarp pulls from the headboard to the rear of the body along two steel cables. A series of bows (arched supports) slide along the cables inside the tarp, forming a tunnel over the load. The driver operates it by hand crank, electric motor, or hydraulic drive — all from ground level or the cab.

• Front shaft assembly mounts at the headboard end
• Dual cables run the length of the body along the combing rails
• Bows slide along cables in pockets sewn into the tarp
• Rear pulleys and idlers guide and tension the cables

Drive Options

• Manual — hand crank operated from ground level
• Electric (12V/24V) — in-cab switch or wireless remote (Razor, Roll·Rite, Superwinch)
• Hydraulic — heavy-duty, typically on larger rigs

• PVC waterproof — standard for most tipper applications
• Quarry mesh — dust suppression, lightweight, suits quarry and rock loads
• Asphalt spec PVC — heat-resistant for hot mix asphalt deliveries
• Canvas — traditional, heavy-duty option
