What Is a Tautliner?

A tautliner (also called a curtainsider or side curtain trailer) uses a sliding curtain on each side of the trailer instead of a solid wall. The curtain slides on an overhead rail system, allowing full side access for forklifts and pallet jacks without opening end doors. It's the standard body style for Australian general freight, linehaul, and distribution.
