Tower Tarp Systems โ€” Supply, Install, Repairs & Parts

All Tarps supplies, installs, and services tower tarp systems for the waste, recycling, demolition, and scrap industries. We carry complete tower tarp assemblies and a wide range of replacement parts, and we install and repair systems from our Heatherbrae workshop.

What's included

  • โœ… Complete tower tarp systems โ€” 12V and 24V configurations from ~$12,000
  • โœ… Individual replacement parts โ€” motors, cylinders, tarps, wiring kits
  • โœ… Installation and servicing from Heatherbrae workshop
  • โœ… Parts available online for delivery Australia-wide

Tower tarp systems are purpose-built for trucks that swap detachable bins โ€” hook lifts, roll-on roll-off trucks, and skip loaders. The tower mounts behind the cab and stays with the truck, covering whatever bin is loaded at the time, regardless of size or how the load is stacked.

Complete Tower Tarp Systems

We supply complete tower tarp assemblies ready to install, available in both 12V and 24V configurations. A typical complete system includes the hydraulic tower, gear motor, tarp, mounting hardware, wiring, hose kit, pump control relay box, and wireless remote. Exact inclusions depend on the setup โ€” contact us to confirm what's needed for your truck.

Replacement Parts

If your existing tower tarp system needs repair or a component replaced, we stock individual parts so you don't have to replace the whole system. Parts available include:

  • Tower sections โ€” bottom, middle, and upper
  • Hydraulic cylinders for each tower section
  • Steel housing tower assembly
  • SuperDuty gear motors โ€” 12V and 24V
  • Replacement tarps (mesh with side flaps and tie-down ropes)
  • Tower mounting kits
  • Hose kits and wiring kits
  • Pump control relay boxes โ€” 12V and 24V
  • E-stop safety switches
  • Flat tarp stops โ€” aluminium and steel

Replacement Tarps

Tarps wear out before the rest of the system does. We supply replacement mesh tarps with side flaps and tie-down ropes to suit tower tarp systems, so you can keep your existing tower and motor running with a fresh tarp.

Installation & Service

We install tower tarp systems at our Heatherbrae workshop. Bring your truck in and we'll fit the system, wire it up, and make sure everything's working before it leaves. We also carry out repairs and servicing on existing systems โ€” motor replacements, cylinder repairs, tarp replacements, wiring faults, and general maintenance.

How a Tower Tarp System Works

A tower tarp system uses a hydraulic mast mounted behind the cab to lift a tarp roller high above the bin โ€” typically over three metres of clearance. Once elevated above the load, an electric motor rolls the tarp out to cover it. When you're ready to unload, the tarp retracts and the tower lowers for travel.

The entire operation runs from ground level via wireless remote. The driver never climbs the bin or touches the load. Because there are no swing arms, there's no width restriction and no interference when loading or unloading the bin.

Who Uses Tower Tarp Systems

  • Hook lift trucks running skip bins and waste bins โ€” tower stays on the truck, covers whatever bin is loaded
  • Roll-on roll-off trucks โ€” demolition, recycling, and scrap with bulky or uneven loads
  • Skip loader trucks โ€” suburban garden waste, light demolition, trade waste
  • Industrial and commercial waste operators โ€” standardised, driver-friendly operation across entire fleets

Can you install the system on my truck?
Yes. Bring your truck to our Heatherbrae workshop and we'll fit the complete system.

My tower tarp motor has failed. Can you just replace the motor?
Yes. We stock SuperDuty gear motors in 12V and 24V. We can replace the motor without replacing the rest of the system.

My tarp is worn out but the tower and motor are fine. Can I just get a new tarp?
