Load restraint safety
Lashing Capacity (LC) is a rating for restraining loads and is not the same as breaking strength. Always follow the National Transport Commission Load Restraint Guide and applicable road transport regulations, use enough restraints for your load, and inspect the webbing, hooks and ratchet before every use. Do not use a strap that is cut, frayed, chemically damaged or has a distorted hook or ratchet — replace damaged straps immediately.
